GETTING THERE

The wedding celebrations will be held in Sotogrande, in the south of Spain. The closest airports are Gibraltar (20 minutes away, entry requirements here) and Malaga (1 hour away). Given connection times, we suggest those flying from The States & Hong Kong to fly into Malaga.

  • From Malaga there are Ubers & taxis easily available 

    For those landing in Gibraltar you must please cross the border before getting your taxi. From 15 July 2026, the UK-EU Agreement in respect of Gibraltar will provisionally apply, and Gibraltar’s entry conditions for short-stay visitors will formally align with Schengen requirements.     Another recommended option is renting a car. There are plenty on offer at both airports. Please bear in mind if landing in Gibraltar, you need to rent a car or get your taxi on the Spanish side of the border.

STAY

We will be arranging transport throughout the weekend from the following hotels and have secured rates at MIM & El Encinar. We suggest booking rooms for 3 nights; 1-4th October.

    It is located within the Sotogrande Puerto and walking distance from lots of restaurants, cafes & beaches for those looking to get more of a feel of the area. 

    It has great views toward Gibraltar and if you’re lucky you may catch a sunset (or sunrise) from the rooftop bar. 

    It is the closest hotel to the wedding on Saturday and easily accessible for all events. 

  • We have secured a rate at El Encinar starting at $155 euros per room, per night including breakfast.

    A great option that has recently been refurbished. It has a large pool & lobby area for those wanting to hang out together before the events and the rooms are relatively big for anyone sharing 

    It is next to Agora (the event held on Thursday night) and well situated for both Friday & Saturday events

  • Best option for those looking to spa over their stay is the SO/ Sotogrande. Lovely hotel with multiple pools and restaurants. It’s a little bit more spread out which is good for those needing a little bit more space or privacy

    SO offers both villas & conjoining rooms. Only catch is there is nothing walking distance from the SO so if you would like to explore during the day we recommend hiring a car.

  • There are also AirBnBs avaiable in the area for those looking to rent over the weekend but please bear in mind you will need to arrange your own transport

THE BJ MASTERS

1st October, 9am-1.30pm

We will be playing an 18 hole tournament at one of Europe’s most spectacular coastal courses. Teeing it up against stunning mediterranean views and championship-level fairways, we’ll be playing both individual and team formats so you can expect a fun tournament surprises along the way.

TEQUILA & TENNIS

1st October, 4-7pm

A great way to meet new faces and shake off the jet-lag. Please join us for a casual afternoon of padel, tennis and getting to know each other. Open to all levels and those who prefer tequila & no tennis.

ASADO & AFTERPARTY

1st October, 8pm til late

Please join us at Agora Sotogrande for an Argentinian Asado followed by party, party, more party…. & as for the afterparty, we want you on your worst behaviour as “Soto Vice meets Crazy Rich Asians” for a night filled with live music and DJs.

BEACH LUNCH

2nd October, Lunch-ish

Gigi’s beach is a great spot for those looking for a Friday lunch spot and a swim to wash away the night before. Feel free to arrange your own bookings and include any new friends you may have met! For those who do not call Sotogrande home, there will be drinks & tapas at Valderrama Golf Club from 7pm. Transport will be provided to the mentioned hotels (see our Finer Details).

THE WEDDING DAY

3rd October, from 4pm

The wedding ceremony starts at 5 o’clock at La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Merced, Sotogrande before dinner and dancing at Finca Las Papas.
